People often assume that going to church, worshiping God, or being in his presence is a simple, safe, enjoyable, and uplifting experience. But in our Scripture passages today we will read about the experiences of Isaiah and Peter when they encountered God. They show us it's a lot more complicated than we may want to believe. Of course, it's more than worth it to approach the Lord of heaven and earth, if we are willing to accept the truth it will reveal about us.
